SpiSendClocks

to init SD Card on Hifi Player example, you use 16x SpiSendClocks. As I read from SD card specification, a min of 74 clocks at exactly 400kBaud is required to init any card. How does this fit? What does SpiSendClocks do ? How do you ensure the clock is kept down to 400kHz ? (it seems in proms.s ther...

Resetting the VS1053

Hi, I cloned parts of the HifiPlayer schematics to my custom board, works fine. I modified the HifiPlayer software and added a SCPI similar command set that controls the VS1053 nicely. Now I have 2 questions: 1. After finishing a song, I found it is required to reset the controller, otherwise it get...

Re: Hifiplayer: can download, but no start

Hi Panu, there is a simple debug problem with HifiPlayer board: It does not have power when you you start to debug ! When I keep pushing the power button and say "Run" in CSIDE, it works. But still the only way is to "RUN", no breakpoints, no stepping, no F8, no F4 (run to cursor) so alos no way to ...

Hifiplayer GPIO/XLED wire function ?

Hifiplayer 0.4 hardware has a direct SPI connection from SD card to VS1053b to read card data.
The only extra wire in your side is the GPIO7/XLED2 you pull from CBM4082 to VS1053b-
is it an input on VS1053b ? what do you use it for ? reading active status of CBM4082 ?

Re: CBM3082 need quartz ?

pls drop the quesiton. I decided to mount 2 channels sdcard on the system, one with standard sd, one internal micro sd card- cheaper solution, no hazzle will use analog multiplexer to attach one of 2 channels via USB jack to CBM4082. Testing 2x 74HC4053, the ultra cheap solution.... of course, also ...

Flash W25X32 on Hifiplayer

Hi,
I copied part of Hifiplayer 0.4 circuit to my custom board.
For production, it seems that the flash you use Winbond W25X32 is hardly available.
Do you know or did you test other chip for hifiplayer ?

Re: Hifiplayer: can download, but no start

Hi Panu, thanks a lot, now the download works, when I remove jumper, I can start the player again by on key. I also can run with the RUN button in VSIDE (jumper still installed). But I cannot debug the application, it says: Loading system 'C:/Program Files (x86)/VSIDE/plugins/emulator.system'... Loa...

Re: Hifiplayer: can download, but no start

Dear Panu, many thanks for the lots of hints. I am trying this now: 1. Generate new solution based an VS1053 Solution ( no idea what "with overlays" means, so not selected), template is HifiPlayer V1.0, Build is ok (one warning type cast into shorter type display.c/352) 2. I have a uniprom directory...

Re: CBM3082 need quartz ?

Hey folks,

I tried the 12MHz quartz, no go, no oscillation also (checked with oscilloscope),
so there must be somethign else wrong.
Do yo have sample circuit diagram from IC supplier Chipsbank ?

CBM3082 need quartz ?

HI,m I copied part of Hifiplayer desing to a custom board. It contains the SDcard slot, which is accessible from PC, and another channel using CBM3082 and NADN Flash, does not run yet. It occurs to me that maybe nobody ever has tried to make the internal NAND flash part with CBM3082 work. Pls check ...
