Re: How to use own memory with SPI hardware driver DevHwSpi

It seems that hw->reservedSectors is not used in that version, it's replaced by a macro RESERVED_SECTORS which should amount to 128 kilobytes and is fixed at compile time. This produces faster code and the extraInfo parameter is used to set the storage size in kilobytes. You MUST use the RESERVED_SE...

Umm.... which devSpiFlash.c are you using? Can you post it here (or copypaste as [ code ] text ?)

Seems that I or someone else has changed what the third parameter does.. let's see what it does exactly.

Re: bug in VSIDE Solution VS1063 player/recorder2016 version

The problem is that for some reason the command "COPY" is not invoked by your system's shell. It must come from the project's pre-build or post-build step in project options. You can try XCOPY instead of COPY. I don't know why some machines fail to run this standard command that dates from the DOS e...

Re: Using Analog pin for battery voltage detection

Any measured voltages are valid only between 0 and AVDD. Can you measure the value of AVDD with a multimeter just to be sure everything is powered up properly?

Re: VS1005 GPIO Access

Hi!

At least the first #include should be <vo_stdio.h> and not <stdio.h>

Can you change that and try again, see what happens!

Re: Need help regarding the VS1005 preprogramming

Hi!

Technically you can load drivers from any location, but practically they must be in S:SYS/ due to file name conventions. The solution is to have only the drivers your final product needs in S:

Re: Using Analog pin for battery voltage detection

That's right. The VS1010 ReadVoltage - GetBatteryVoltage example, to which Hannu linked to, is in fact derived from the VS1005 Hi-Res player code. The Hi-Res player uses an analog pin to measure the battery voltage because it wants to measure the battery voltage ALSO when USB power is connected. And...

Re: How to make programmed "Reboot #"

Hi! The ROM code has a bug in the flash writer: the last write to the flash is not committed. This is fixed in the patch but it is not run, I think, when you reboot this way. Just to let you know.. I have another solution almost ready but now if I reboot 4 , I make a "new text document" to the flash...
