Re: Reverb / Echo Generator for VS1005

Hello! If you want to have a quick chance of hearing the effect of the Reverb Generator without installing it on your VS1005 system, here are some MP3 audio snippets that demonstrate the effect. FIrst, there is the reference public domain recording snippet, Heights_0.mp3. Then, with a very mild reve...

Reverb / Echo Generator for VS1005

Hello! It is with great pleasure that I presend you with an all-new filter for VS1005: The Reverb Generator. The Reverb Generator is capable of creating a room-like or hall-like echo effect, with lots of customisable parameters. I am not sure if the package can be compiled with a non-custom VSIDE en...

Re: lcd288.dl3 and lcd288v.dl3

Hello! Attached to this message are current versions of the 2.88" ILI9341 LCD drivers, both horizontal and vertical versions, with source code. They now compile universal binaries and require at least VSOS 3.50 to run. If you need to compile for an older version of VSOS, see the instructions here: h...

Re: How to mount a SD card as USB mass storage and run own program in parallel

Hello! The mistake is mine. The current USBMSC driver unfortunately contains a symbol reference that is missing in out current VS1005g. Please find attached a version with a .DL3 file that also runs on the VS1005g. If you need to modify / recompile the source code, you'll need to make the following ...

Re: VS1005 Ogg Vorbis encoder bandwidth

Phew, glad it finally worked! By the way, are you interested only in the spectrum up to 24 kHz, or would even more be good? I tried the Rec program with a fast 128 GB Lexar SD card and could record a Quality 10 mono Vorbis file at 96 kHz, as follows: setclock -l90 86 auoutput -s2048 -b16 -r96000 aui...

Re: VS1005 Ogg Vorbis encoder bandwidth

AAAAARGH!

That would be because I accidentally zipped the DL3 from the wrong directory, so it was the old version instead of the shiny, new, and tested-with-ultrasound one. Here, attached to this message should finally be the correct one. I am really sorry for the confusion!

Kind regards,
- Henrik

Re: VS1063A full-duplex operation query

Hello! And welcome to our forum! First of all let me thank you for explaining your system requirements and thought processes so eloquently! It makes it so much easier to write a (hopefully) useful answer. The question is… if a VS1063a is busy encoding a mono (from a microphone) stream at 48kHz sampl...

Re: VS1005 Ogg Vorbis encoder bandwidth

The fact you are only getting silence from the encoder is another matter entirely. I'll have to look deeper into that, and unfortunately I don't expect to get it working today. But, I'll try to figure the issue out by Monday. Ok, it's Monday now, and I have found and - I think - corrected the error...

Re: Latest VSOS Kernel (3.54) available here.

As has been noted in another thread, VSOS 3.54 reports itself as VSOS 3.53. To fix that, you can change the version number in kernel_abs.s from 353 to 354.

Re: VS1005 Ogg Vorbis encoder bandwidth

Hello! I've downloaded the new kernel but suspect that there is some issue with the version linked in your message because after upgrading the new kernel it still continues identifying itself like "3.53": That's right. Shame on me: I forgot to change the version number in kernel_abs.s from 353 to 35...
