VS1053 connecting analog power if use only I2S output

Post by mr_smit »

Hi. If I use an only I2S output of VS1053, do I need to wire the analog power pins (38, 43, 45)? Or can I leave them unconnected?

Do you use any analog inputs? If yes, you need AVDD. If you don't use either analog output or input, you should not need AVDD.

No

Thanks. These pins must be PullDown to GND? Or free (not connected)?

Connect AGND normally, i.e. connect AGND and DGND together below the chip. Leave AVDD unconnected.
