vs1053b combining real time midi and PCMMixer plugin?

Post by joemarshall » Mon 2016-04-04 11:11

I've got a vs1053b connected via SPI. I'm using the VS1053b realtime midi start code (by loading the plugin below over SPI).

Code: Select all

const unsigned short sVS1053b_Realtime_MIDI_Plugin[28] = { /* Compressed plugin */
  0x0007, 0x0001, 0x8050, 0x0006, 0x0014, 0x0030, 0x0715, 0xb080, /*    0 */
  0x3400, 0x0007, 0x9255, 0x3d00, 0x0024, 0x0030, 0x0295, 0x6890, /*    8 */
  0x3400, 0x0030, 0x0495, 0x3d00, 0x0024, 0x2908, 0x4d40, 0x0030, /*   10 */
  0x0200, 0x000a, 0x0001, 0x0050,
};
Can I run the PCM Mixer plugin on top of this also, or do the two things conflict?

thanks,

joe

VS1053b PCMmixer seems to reside higher in memory, so it seems to me that you can first start the realtime midi, then load the pcmmixer.

The VS1003b/VS1033c/VS1053b Real-Time MIDI Input Application would be a bit better (increases the input FIFO size) than the vs1053b rtmidi start code, but unfortunately its FIFO overlaps with the variables of PCMMixer.
