Hello VLSI Team,
We are developing some solution which records analog mono signal feed into VS1063 over LIN input. We are looking for solution which could shape our sampled signal to tranmission characteristic called "Presence " - boosted speach frequencies low and high edge frequencies reduced to remove "booming effect, and too much "esses" at high frequncies". The simplest solution with VLSI seems to use simple equalizer. Since we are recording with encoding to MP3 with qualities:
Sample rate 16 kHz, CBR 32kbps
Sample rate 24 kHz, CBR 64kbps
Sample rate 32kHz, VBR 115kbps
or OGG
is there possibility just to reuse somehow built in 5point equaliser?
Thanks for your support

Re: Reusage of 5point equalizer with MP3 / OGG Encoder VS1063
The encoding data path has not been designed to have tone controls.
For suppressing low frequencies, maybe you could use this crazy idea of ours: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1912
