Hello Pasi
In our use case, one side is vs1063a, the other side is PC. When I test ADPCM encoding format, it seems that the IMA ADPCM enc/dec source code is not adapting to VS1063a's. Do you have IMA ADPCM open source code that could work with vs1063a?
kind regards.
Wayne.
issue of vs1063's encoding gain
Re: issue of vs1063's encoding gain
Hello Pasi
Use G711 encoding format, tow vs1063a of codec mode can work well ,the voice is very clear. but when I save audio data to a file. And paly the audio file with a voice palyer(goldwave), the voice is not clear(with much noice), why does this happen?
Saved audio file is attached.

Which device is encoding and which is playing? Is the vs1063a in encoding mode or codec mode?Use G711 encoding format, tow vs1063a of codec mode can work well ,the voice is very clear.
The data looks strange. Is it really g.711 u-law?
Are you saving to a file on the PC, or on your controller?

Hello Pasi
Thanks for your reply. We have completed the tuning of vs1063a. Now vs1063a can work with our PC audio codec tool well. the voice is clear. The noice is because our pc codec tool use a-law, but vs1063a is set to u-law.
thanks again.
kind regards.
