Standalone Player/Recorder v1.19 Missing

Post by alipr » Sun 2018-08-19 10:41

I understand that the standalone recorder has been removed since v1.20 for VS1003B, according to the v1.20 document.
I need the recorder bin/C for this chip, however I wasn't able to find the older v1.19 in the VS1003B evaluation board page.
Where can I download the legacy standalone player/recorder v1.19?
Your help is very appreciated!

Note that the vs1003 recorder needs a pre-existing file which it overwrites.

The package is still available if you guess the filename correctly. http://www.vlsi.fi/fileadmin/evaluation ... one118.zip

Thanks for sharing that!

Is there any program that can compress the "recorder1003sci.c" to "recorder1003sci.plg"?
There is no PLG compressed codes in standalone v1.18 and I have a real tight micro flash storage!

Unfortunately .plg could be generated just from the original binary.

However, converting the loading tables to .plg is pretty straightforward by hand as well. The plugin consists of a number of (Register, Count, values*) groups. You get the Register from the atab, then the Count is the number of the same register written in succession, and values from the dtab.
