I've bougtht a breakbord with VS1053B like that https://www.geeetech.com/vs1053-mp3-bre ... p-611.html
Unfortunately, after connect and initialize it there is very strong and annoying noise in the left channel. It exists even when song doesn't play. Is there a problem of the chip or it could be somrthing else? Please, any ideas.

Hi,
How long is your reset? What CVDD are you using? Does it happen often?

Do you use headphones?

1) Reset pulse is 0.1 s
2) CVDD is 2.5 V (I measured this on pin 5)
3) It happens always (in IDLE mode, when internal sinus generator works, when music play)

And yes, I hear that on headphones. I tryed 3 ones with the same result.

The recommended maximum CVDD of vs1053b is 1.85V.

2.5V is way too much for CVDD, and is known to produce various issues. (May work for some production lots, but fail for others.)

We have seen this exact issue when some customers have migrated from vs1003 or vs1033 to vs1053b and forgotten to change the CVDD regulator.

The problem was exactly in the wrong –°VDD voltage. I replaced 2.5V regulator to 1.8V and the problem disappeared. Thank you very much for the support!
