Not connected pins

Post by Brek »

Hello :)
I just wanted to be sure that pins marked as not connected actually go nowhere.
It appears I’ve shorted one of them to a GPIO pin which will get tied to ground via a resistor.

Maybe the data sheet says not connected, but it turns out to be some factory test pin or something and can’t be connected to ground.
Cheers Brek.

Maybe you guys remember the last one. This will be harder, with less control of what goes where,
and no split ground plane for analogue for this one.

I’ve reflowed again, and used wick, and it’s still connected. It’s pin 35.

What's the IC?

In vs1053/vs1063 LQFP-48 pin 35 is digital(IO) ground.
