How to make config.txt

Post by Johannes » Sat 2019-01-05 5:10

Hi,
I have a VS1005 developer board and I am new with this board.
So I would like to know how to make config.txt.
I would appreciate someone explain me to do, or is there any document for it?
Thank you,
Johannes

Hi!

You just create it with notepad, after mounting the flash to your PC using USB.

Please see the info videos:

Thanks for your message.
I saw the videos(#1, #2, #3, #4), and I followed them.
For now I don't understand the drivers and parameters loaded.
For example, what does it mean "K9F4G N" and "S:", etc?
Is there any documents to explain them?
Thanks again,
Johannes

For audio drivers AUxxxxx:
http://www.vlsi.fi/fileadmin/software/V ... _Audio.pdf
For VSOS:
http://www.vlsi.fi/fileadmin/software/V ... _Shell.pdf

VOSOS_root and source code package (newest kernel thread on this forum) has root directory which has good starting point for config.txt

k9f4g is one of the old nandflash drivers.
s: is system disk. Usually external SPI flash.
The paths are s:sys/ which are different compared to dos paths which would be s:\sys\ note the first missing (back)slash on VSOS
