it is with great pleasure and pride that I present you our newest technology: Word recognition demonstration. This demonstrator begins brand new software solution family that utilize artificial intelligence using neural networks. The entire process including data capture, preprocessing of data, training of neural network and inference are supported.

Check out the document (WordsDemo.pdf) and zip attached to this message. The first chapter of the introduction of the document is shown below:

"This demonstration shows a personalized, self-learning and language-agnostic word recognition solution. Neural networks are used to detect spoken words. This document and related programs demonstrates how VS1005 can be used to recognize language-independent words spoken by a person using a neural network."

The zip contains document, example file containing recognizable words, demonstration programs and source codes of two programs.

Dear Forum Members,

The demonstration documentation has been updated. Now it includes optional control commands for using the LCD screen of VS1005 Developer Board. In addition, a couple of links to additional documentation have been added.

The demonstration software has also been slightly modified. Now the output of the program is more suitable for the LCD screen.
