Re: VS1005 Rec - problem solving

Hello Arkantium!

Thanks for the dump from the format command. They are always helpful!

The "SD not found" message appears very odd to me. It makes me suspect something may be going wrong on the hardware level.

I'll have to think a bit and see if I have further questions.

Kind regards,
- Henrik

Re: VS1005 4-channel HiRes Recorder

Hello Arkantium!

I have prepared an answer for you. However, as the answer is regarding the program Rec and not the HiRes Recorder, I have made a new thread for the discussion. It is available here:

Re: Do you have VS1005H?

Hello Winwan!

VS1005h is the follower of VS1005g, and still in (late stages of) development.

We will make a press release and also publish it here on the forums when we have it available as samples.

In preparation for VS1005h we moved to so-called "Universal Binaries" a couple of years ago along ...

Re: ADC and IIS inputs coexist

Hello!

I have been working on and released a new version of the Reverb driver that can connect to stdaudioin:
http://www.vsdsp-forum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2239

This will make it easier to do what I think you are asking:
1) Read input A
2) Read input B
3) Apply reverb to input B
4) Mix ...

Hello!

The new I2S driver with some documentation is available at:

AUOI2SMV.dl3: VS1005 I2S automatic driver with manual volume control

Hello!

An I2S driver has recently been requested from us that would automatically copy the DAC output to I2S, but which would allow for separate volume controls for the DAC and I2S.

This driver has now been writted, tested and documented. It's called AUOI2SMV.DL3.

To test the driver, download ...

Re: VS1005 GPIO Access

Hello!

Just to let you know that I currently have a dual-volume DAC + I2S system in testing. If everything goes well, I may be able to release it tomorrow.

Re: VS1053+WAV PCM RECORDER: no amplification

Hello!

I am the author of the VS1053 WAV PCM Recorder.

It's been a while since writing this piece of software, but Pasi is absolutely correct: contrary to what the documentation says, there is no volume control for the input. This feature is actually there on purpose: we have no freely adjustable ...
